Synopsis: Yankee Irving is a kid trying to find his place in the neighborhood baseball games. Defeated by
lack of size and strength, Yankee finds a confidant in Screwie, a hot tempered talking baseball who just wants
to be left in the sandlot where he was found. When Yankee learns that Babe Ruth's cherished bat Darlin' has
been stolen on the eve of the World Series, he begins a cross-country adventure to retrieve it and save the day.
